Died - Mar 13, 1897 (aged 58) Bella Coola, Central Coast Regional District, British Columbia, Canada
Buried - Hagensborg Cemetery, Hagensborg, Central Coast Regional District, British Columbia, Canada

Christian in 1872 was called as new pastor to the Trysil Church congregation. The first recorded death in the records of Trysil Cemetery is his son Theodore who died in 1874. Randine died in 1877 after giving birth to twins. One twin died the same day and the other twin died at 18 months.

E.P. Lobeck diary, Entry for April 28, 1877 ___
"Mrs. Saustad died after delivering twins. One was stillborn."
Entry for May 1, 1877 ___
"They were buried."

After Randine's death, Rev. Saugstad married Gunhilde Marie Ovesdtr. Myhr on May 1, 1878 at Trysil Church. Later they moved west and established the community of Bella Coola, BC, Canada.

Buried - Trysil-Bethseda Lutheran Cemetery, Holmes City, Douglas Co Minnesota, USA

Daughter of John Larson Kvernstuen & Ingeborg Pedersdtr Gullord. Randine came from Coon Prairie, WI to Holmes City with her husband Christian in 1872 when he was called as new pastor to the Trysil Church congregation.
